Congrats Colin, I used to run the blockpass tires and they were amazing, great traction and lasted a long time.

Here are a couple of quotes that Michael Sharwin posted on another website about the tires.
"I ran these when they were under the advantage name. Great tires.. With a little bit of testing and setup adjustments they are just as fast as anything out there." "Ya...I personally like the Scrapes( good on a wet surface that has a little bit of loose dirt... Blockpasses were really good on bumpy track because of the thick sidewall(work awesome at Silverstate track in boulder city)... there were the ZZ pattern tires also.. i used those when everyone else was using holeshots and what not..I liked to use the tires on a narrow rim.. tires seemed to work better.. if ya have any questions let me know.. i did a lot of testing.." |
Congrats Colin! ;)

Best of luck Colin!

Here is a post from my now partner. He believes so strongly in these tires, he bought into the company!!
I was lucky enough to received some sample DLD Pre-Mounted buggy tires that With: Kirk Jr. driving a Losi 8 buggy. Mike hunter “Losi 8 buggy”, Help we were lucky enough to test this New import. And me, using my new Mugen MBX6. Testing location was At CVRC in Madera. CVR track conditions were: Cool and dry, Hard pack, rutted and some drying loam. CVRC NEVER “Blue Groves at all”. The tires we tested were, Holeshots, Hat tricks, and ZZ tires. With red inserts (soft) and yellow inserts (firm) Both the Holeshots and the Hat tricks work very well at CVR Mike and JR. both like the Holeshots. For them these tires are more suited to what they are looking for in tire feed back, and performance. Holeshots have good overall grip, and the Hat tricks have great forward bite! I liked them both on the MBX6 The ZZ tires work Best in Wet heavy loam or Muddy conditions, We did not have those conditions that day at CVRC And so far “they are” what DLD promises. Excellent quality, At a great value! Looking forward to using them at either Delta or full throttle this coming weekend Steven Canadian MBX5T Pro spec MBX6 |
