Paul is a great guy and will be guest starring for GS at the SS for sure.

As for the CLX shown in the photos, it's a prototype. The production car will come standard with:
aluminum front upper arm mount
silver graphite radio tray and diff plate
new engine mounts which just slightly tilt the motor towards the center
beefier arms
redesigned towers
and a bunch of stuff you can't see- longer chassis, 42T spur, longer front shock bodies, and best of all, redesigned body

Default body

I liked the body, one look and you could tell it was a CLX, but I guess you have to go with what every one wants. Garen, it looks like you are doing a great job with GS, Thanks.

Default AWESOME!

This is great! GS is looking good is the US now. Can't wait to hear the results of the SS race. Wish I could be there myself but can't swing it this year. It's great to see we're going to have good drivers and good factory support at a big event. Good luck to all you GS drivers!!!!

Any non pullstart backplate from sh brand engines will fit, this is the best option http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4331

what do you mean by stock pipe, The GS bo3 runs best with an 086 pipe.

That was a damn good engine for me, never had an issue with it untill it died.

MC9, Novarossi #6, GS #5 all work fine.

I'll try to find the part number for the non pullstart backplate tomorrow.

Stock pipe works fine, but any 'race' level tuned pipe will be better.

Don't know anything about that BL mount....

GS releases the Storm CLX Buggy and is shipping! 2009/03/24

Leaving behind old traditions and taking buggy design to a new and higher standard, is the Storm CLX competition 1/8th off road nitro buggy. Using the highly successful Storm CL-1 Advanced Plus as the foundation,GS has created alighter, stronger, and more nimble buggy. Durability, Balance, Quality, and Weight: In each area improvements have been made resulting in a buggy that turns faster lap times yet is consistent and easy to drive.

Should be getting my shipment early next week. Hey you guys starting a CLX thread or there is already 1?
