yeah i see, but i hope thats a prototype cause those are not the shocks that i saw from the pics of the CLX at the toy show. those look like MP9 shocks. looks like he isnt using the radio box.

Those are Kyosho shocks on Matias' buggy. I don't know for sure but I would suspect that since he has been a Kyosho driver he may just be using them for now since he has more experience with them.

If you look close parts of the radio box are still there.

Default buggy

This is all good but I would love to see just one top driver running the CLX in the USA. Why cant GS get a top driver to run the buggy. They just need one top driver to do good at big races in the USA. You should have seen all the people going to the Tamiya tent to look at Lutz's buggy. Lutz bring's credibility to that buggy. It only takes one good driver, and the racers that buy the buggy benefit from the pro's set up in the USA and all the R&D on US soil. Have you ever seen the tracks over seas, they are like on road tracks with speed bumps. I race at the Nitro Pit and that is how most of the tracks in the US are going, BIG.

Miguel's car does have Kyosho shocks on it, but I think I can safely say those will be replaced by the GS shocks sooner than later. The radio box is also there, but he removed most of it..not sure why, but it might be because he likely has one of the prototype cars and some of the parts are not finalized yet and things did not fit right. I know this because we too are testing a prototype and our version is different from his.
Release date, at least for Europe and Asia, is April. The US release date will likely be pushed back at least a month to iron out some of the packaging and manual details.
We do have some top drivers testing the car here and the car will be raced at the Silverstate next month. The GS tent will be there, GS products will be on display, company reps on hand, etc. We won't be fielding a full team in the US this year, and we won't be able to attend all the big races, but we will do our best to provide the best setups and support to all CLX and GS customers.
By the way, the CLX is definitely one fast car; for sure it is more aggressive in the turns, feels 'lighter' in the jumps, smoother over the rough stuff. The new transmission seems to improve acceleration and deceleration.

I have not yet confirmed a price, but I am pretty sure the car will not cost $600+.

The CL-1/AD/AD+ cars are built like tanks and are pretty durable. The CLX is lighter in weight, the arms are a bit less beefy, but so far we have not broken anything, and we have taken a few tumbles.

snapped my only 2.5mm drill bit making the new engine mounts for my storm

I'll sort it... soon... so far it's had 2 tanks through it since new, 1/4 of a tank on the track (when I found it handled really nicely , but only after I spent all day trying to start it because my glow starter didn't make contact with the plug properly )

Default Clx

Man it's great to see GS trying to come back, and I hope they do. I can't wait until the Silver State race and having Paul Coleman drive the car is great for GS and us in the USA. I just wish I could get one before the race.
