Tried drake's setup and the rear end was to soft. Not sure how you can run that setup and keep the rear end from slapping the ground on all the jumps.

Can you say quit overjumping, Throttle Control.

I';m running brushless....little extra weight over the rear is what is causing this I believe.

Jose have you run on dans new layout-if so how is it, more jumps-less jumps, more open straits or what and I am assuming its the same dirt as the last track
Just trying to decide which motors to bring-want to try out my $70 rc techspecial (nova 421b)
And I will bring the powerhouse turbo crank grp-remind me to take it apart and show you the crank
What time do you guys usually get there and where do yall pit-on the hill or closer to the drivers stand
Looking forward to some good ole club racing and relaxing

Track is completely different. Same dirt and rocks though. Only 2 sections of jumps the rest is turns. I have mine geared for not very much speed at all. About low 30's....the turns is where the time is made up. I always pitch the tent close to the generator for power to charge batts. I will be there around 9am.

It took till I had over a gallon on my truck before it started to oosen up and drive the way it does now. The first time I heard they had a break-in time on the chassis I thought he was crazy but it was coming from a team losi/horizon hobbies pro so I belived him
He also told me that after about 4 gallons or so to swap sided with your cvd's left to right and you will get more time out of them-haven't done that yet I'm only at about 3 gallons
After driving a kyosho last year this truck suits my style so much better-i am a lot faster with this truck than I ever was with the k-car
Rock on losi

First of all if you slapping jumps here in the US well lots of air here, I run DRAKES standard set up which I really like. It my rear is perfect. I run full rebound, and this truck is soooooo great on the track, I can drive it hard and it begs for more. But I dont know what else to tell you. its not the truck,

That's good advice on the CVD's...most guys dont even think about it....or just put them together how they want...but i mark which holes im on and take notes on how long ive ran on that side for......i go less then 4 gallon's...but ive flipped a set of truggy CVD's and repined them for about the last year or so...there getting to the point where they need replacing....but new pins usually make it fell all good again...once the CVD end is ovaled out they are junk.

Their is food at the track . See you then. Just went out there today to check the track out...better bring tires for sand and rocks. VERY sandy on top....and rocks imbedded in the dirt.
