Yes, if shimmed properly they will help reduce flex in the rear diff case...I have had zero issues since installing the inserts :D

I was just weary about putting metal inserts into a plastic diff case, and the metal wearing the plastic faster. No issues there?

Wearing what plastic faster? The diff cases? The inserts don't move in the case once installed, they lock in place.

will they fit the stock losi rims?

Yeah, I just meant with all the banging around and abuse they endure, if there was ever an issue.

No they won't fit. You would have to get wheels. The HPI's are 2 3/4" wide so they should be OK. The Road Rage 40 series are really wide at 3 3/4 inches - might have to adjust your EPA to use those - still might be too wide. I have some Road Rage 40 series tires from my Revo and I think I may have tried them on my 8ight-T when I was tuning it up and down the street but I can't remember so don't quote me on that.

You could also try some Losi street buggy tires/wheels, they will be narrower of course.

i like the hpi rims

Okay. I've got a 1.0 buggy and just put the 1.0 truggy together. I burned up my starter box trying to break in the B5 in the truggy. I would really like a box that I can use for both vehicles. I know that the OFNA Truggy box is "the King", but not sure about the adjustability between races.

Is the Losi 2.0 box worth looking into, or am I better off putting a new motor in the box I have (OFN 10245) and buying an entirely new set-up for the truggy?

i need to get in the mood to run this kit more. but is wet here out side.

i have the losi box and that motor and its tight. heat it up some to bump it. or take the plug back out some. and i had to lift the wheel up some in the box and put a lipo pack in it . works good now

You want the Ofna Truggy Box. It is easy to adjust and will handle anything you can throw at it.
All you have to do is set up the truck then use a marker and trace the lines where the pads sit, then adjust it for the buggy and trace those lines. Snug the screws so it wont fall apart but it loose enough to move.
I had to do this for a month when my boys box stripped a belt.
But if you buy a second one, its so much easier.

Just use the stock XTT's that come with the kit. They work good for just about everything. If you are going to buy tires, buy some racing compounds that work well at your track.
