Any feedback on this engine? Which do you prefer, the standard or turbo version? would you recommend this for truggy use? Many thanks

I run the stock motor and it's an awesome engine for buggy application. 8 minutes run time with the 8mm restrictor. I use it with either a 9886 pipe with a long smooth flow header or the 9901 pipe with the same header as well. I am leaning towards the 9901 pipe as it is much more linear. Also planning on switching it to a 7mm restrictor to see if I get more runtime. If the stock is any measure of performance, the tuned should be quite a monster.

That engine was tuned or modded by novarossi engineers themselves. They did some work on the crankshaft and adjusted the timing. Special care was made in matching the piston to the sleeve. The outcome of this is a very smooth powerband which will be great for buggy use. But I am sure that it will do good on a truggy as well, just use a 9853 pipie and a 12 cb. It will be great on your X2 for the upcoming Nationals.
