Hey guy's, I've been looking all over the net for pipe recommendations for this engine. I have found a few varying opinions. I was set on the sirio cl3b but i thought I'd stretch and buy the os!
Initially i was set on an os 2060 pipe but this seems very expensive and possibly not worth the extra cash. I have seen many recommend the jammin pipes, the jp-1 doesn't sound like a good choice as it's mainly for tight tracks but it seems like the jp-2 and jp-3 might be what i'm after.
The track i race at has about 3 decent length straights that you can really open up on. Lap times are about 38-39's for the quick guy's.
Any advice appreciated.

I personally really like the AE/TT 2035 pipe and run it on my OS Speed as well as on my V-Spec. JP3 ain't too bad either and people say that it gives a little better fuel mileage.

The Jammin pipes are what most of us run at my track on the V-Spec. It's easy, you want bottom you run the jp 1 you want mid ant top you run the jp 3. I run the jp 3 with my V-Spec with great results. This is a video of CW at the nitroX at the Nitro Pit with the jp 3 V-spec.

the last time i ran my x2 crt i got nearly 12 minutes on a vspec with jp-3.....

My VZB loved the Dynamite Platinum pipe...053MR...Also the OS 2060 is great but pricey.

os 2050 is the only way to go. OS pipes last 10 times as long as a JP-3.

2050 is a brute on the v spec. 2060 pretty sweet too on big tracks or tracks that lack grip.

what do you mean by that? i personally find it easier to clean and maintain a hardcoated pipe than a polished one. only recently did os fix the problem with the pressure nipple coming off. my jp3 is over 2 yrs old and works perfectly. curious as to what you meant?? thanks

The original 2050 was clear coated and was very easy to clean. In 2006, OS re-released the Mark Pavidis 2050 and it was not clear coated, but if you use an SOS pad, you could clean it right up. What I meant about lasting longer than the JP pipes it that the wall thickness of the 2050 is double that of the JP-3. The JP pipes smack down on the mud guard and the belly of the pipe flattens out. You really have to try to dent a 2050. I have some 2050s that are 4 yrs. old!
