Default best lipo for ofna truggy starter box?

i have had a couple blue truggy boxes with a couple different lipos. what does everyone like and how long of life? has anyone else had the contacts be burnt up because of the intial spark from contact? my last two boxes had to be modified because contact shrinks from spark. right now i have to push down at a angle for contact to work. is there a fix for this and why is it happening? any thoughts are appreciated.

Had the same problem with burnt up contacts.

Made new ones from heavy copper, then burnt the switch....

So...

The lipo in the pic is a Turnigy 4S 2200 30C from Hobby King and is well over a year old, been run flat a couple times and gets abused on a regular basis (community box)....
It still takes a full charge and will crank anything I wanna put on it.

Try installing an automotive relay to get rid of the electric arcing at the pole switch, there is a thread with wiring diagram a few pages back.
