Default Novarossi hybrid?

Will The Novarossi RX21P5XS sleeve piston and rod fit in a Novarossi N21B 2001 BF motor? I have the N21B and I was wondering when this motor wears out if I could use the P5 stuff instead?

I don't think it will fit because the 21bf is a short stroke engine. I would love it though if there is another piston and sleeve that will fit as I have 1 as well.

I heard that Go Tech piston and sleeves fit into Novarossi mills. I'm not sure which Novarossi engines though. PM 22Racer, he has used Go Tech P/S in Nova engines and it is a heck of a lot cheaper to buy a Go Tech p/s versus a NR p/s.

I used to have a Bf but I don't remeber what the stroke was. The Go crank, rod, piston and sleeve are a direct fit with the long stroke Novarossi like the P5x.

Well there you have it. I knew Rex would chime in sooner or later.

The piston sleeve and rod for this motor is around 200$ and the motor in stock form is 175$ WTF? But my motor is a hot mod by Fusion I couldn't imagine what that piston and sleeve would run. That is why i was looking into the P5 stuff. I bought the motor 225$. What would you do?

When the motor wears out just buy a new one. I would go with a better version.

We had a Bf a couple years ago, it was a good starter motor. It has a cheaper crank, rod etc. If it wears out I wouldn't go with a better novarossi version, maybe a P5x,821 or a 21-5. I know some of those can get expensive, there are other brand motors around $200 that are as good as the better Nova's.
