I recall seeing either on here or over at Tech Talk that IFMAR rules will apply. If that is the case then yes the V3's are leagal.

bud is right. ROAR rules apply. So if it's ROAR legal, then yes, you can run them.

I think that is conflicting. I thought v3 tires for 1/8 buggy were not ROAR legal, but they are IFMAR legal. Can someone clear this up?

If i was too run a 1/8th nitro buggy there.. Well first of all i'm a rookie.. But what are the rules and specs, motor size, tires, weight, that kind of stuff... Please help..

Your best bet would be to buy something like a RTR Team Associated RC8. You can race that right out of the box. There's a lot of stuff that would take hours to type as far as rules, specs and stuff. It would be cheaper to get started in that class with a RTR. Most are real nice out of the box. If you want more info on specs and racing rules you can check out http://roarracing.com/ these rules are the "go to" rules for racing in the US.
