Dave, I know you have to see how many racers show but when will you post what pecentage of the entries per class will be paid out and how(1-5)?

It's always nice to know upfront what the payout or percentage will be before hand.

See ya guys and I look forward to actually racing this year!

I will throw some solid numbers out a little later on. Yes 1-5 will receive money. It will be a bigger payout than last year.:) I have always thought that top 5 should get money for a big race like this one.

Sorry you missed out on the action last year and had to do the whole team manager thing. Glade you can run this time.

Call me when you get a second.

I am definately going to try and get down there this year...are there any plans on having more/better exhaust fans? (buddies that went last year said it was very heavy smoke in the building..hard to see and breathe)

We have invested a good sum of money on BIG exhaust fans. Ventilation will be much improved. The issue is that we have is 24 hours of practice, qualifying and then jump right into the mains. The track never gets a break or the air for that matter. All other indoor races that i have been to take breaks during the day and close the track at night. NOT US, ITS AROUND THE CLOCK ACTION for 3 days straight. This year we will be taking small breaks during friday practice for track maintanance and to clear the air. The fans WILL move the air in the facility so for qualifying and the mains air quality will be good. One other point to make is that we have one of the largest portable drivers stands that i know of which is 40 feet long and can hold 22 drivers. That means there are 22 cars out on the track at one time which produces lots of exhaust. I was in the timming and scoring booth at 3am Sat. morning and there were 20 guys practicing. Thats what it is all about and we have a system that can handle the fumes this year. We also understand the dirt better so look for a killer racing surface.

but I'm worried about my dad.

I'll be their and do agree that smooth jumps help with durability issues. The Great Wall was just an incredible idea that rocks!!! What i think is a big problem with exhaust is that smoke rises and all these indoor facilities don't have roof fans to help suck the fumes out. At the plant we keep our equipment in when the fans are on and you open the garage doors you can feel the air pulling in really hard and it slams all the office doors shut. Not that we can cut a hole in their roof but it would help.:tire::):):tire:
