Default 4pk

4pk... i wonder if anyone has any issues with the new 4pk? I have been wanting to get one, but I deiced to wait and see whats happening. Because you know brand new products usually will have issues and problems in the begin when there released. So I think its kind of about time to find out??

thanks..

Well I have been running a 2.4 ghz system on my 3pm for 2 years now. I like it because its light and doesnt get my hand tired during long main runs. but im ready to upgrade since i heard that 4pk is as light and just is as good as 3pks without the big heavy stuff on top.

I've been running this for about a month. I had the receiver over heat in one qualifying heat. However, this has never happened again.

THe nav menus and hand adjustments make it worth every penny.

What receiver packs were you using? Lipo or Nimh? Thanks.

I'm using a 1600 NIMH. I've seen and heard of a few people using Lipo with a regulator that has failed. So until they increase the voltage on receivers I'm sticking with Nimh.

I see that some people drilled holes on their receiver box in some 8 scale buggies, isnt that the reason why they had that done? to keep it cool?? what about dust?? do they put some fliter inside the box for dust to be collected before it gets to the receiver?

I have been running a 4pk for about 2 months with no problems... I love this TX! I do run Lipo with the Losi regulator... I have not had any issues with the 4ch Rx over heating... the 3ch Rx over heated on me once.... so don't run them. The 4pk is the light, and comfortable...me likey!

I reamed holes in my Rx box after i had the 3ch Rx over heat...didn't help....
I never had a problem with the 4Ch Rx that came with the Tx... I sold the 3ch and just bought another 4ch... no problems since!

Also running in "Fast" with the Futaba BLS servos..

4Ch.. hence 4pk....lol The 4pk Tx only comes with the 4ch Rx,,but a lot of us have the 3ch Rx's form our old 3pk.... so as long as one use the 4ch Rx that comes with the 4pk..you'll be fine.. The fourth channel is just extra.
