Default os .21 RG backplate option?

i have an old but new in box os .21 RG sport buggy engine, i would like to fit it in my buggy but the backplate is too big, also i would like to change it for a rotostart backplate (now it's pullstart) and i was wondering if this backplate would fit http://store.outacontrolhobbies.com/xtm24ba.html

I doubt that's going to work. If your pullstart is good, why don't you just take the plastic cover off and start the thing with a drill? All you need is a socket that fits the one way bearing and an extension that allows you to reach it with the drill.

because the backplate is just too big and i have 2 other problems, i can't fit the exhaust coupler at the back to install my manifold since on this engine you have to buy the OS manifold... and the coupler run against the backplate, maybe i can dremel it a bit... and also because the backplate also rub against the chassis since the engine mount are not tall enough, this backplate is really big...
