Hey Z-Car Owners. There is a Facebook Group where we can discuss the cars and help each other out with setups. If you still have a Z-Car and want to join us, here is the link.

This is a new one for me. Never seen this car before. I like the brake rotor on the outdrive, looks like 1:1 scale monster truck stuff. Whats with the rear arm angle? How do you adjust front camber?
Is this car still in production? Id love to try one out. Looks interesting.

What material do you use to seal the gas tank? Not silicone right?

This is a fuel tank that Z-Car has for gasoline. The o-ring is probably the only thing different.

Anyone in the us still running the z-car? I've been out of the sport a few years but had great results with the 8 buggy and truggy thru 2011. I heard the 10 had even more steering than the 8 but missed out on it. Anyone run the new Z15xb buggy yet? Any us dealers?

No US distributors yet but Terranova in Canada does a great job I hear. I've debated buying the z15 but I'm worried about the continued support and setup help diversity. Even the FB page didn't get much activity. The platform looks top notch and if it's anything like z8/10 in terms of durability I'm sure it's a great car

I am the Canadian dealer for Z-Car. Most dealers don't survive due to the durability of the cars. I have sold a lot of cars, but very few parts. I keep lots of parts in stock though. I met a racer this week that bought a new Z10 over a year ago. The other racers even confirmed that he abused the car to the point of hitting walls and poles, but I just sold him the first parts this weekend.
I kept my company smaller, which is why I'm still selling Z-Car after 5 years. I run the cars myself as well as quite a few of my friends, and local racers and I don't rely on it as an income.
Setup support is certainly an issue for some racers. Quite a few guys said they would run Z-Car if there were more racers offering setup advice. I have found a few local racers that are willing to find their own setups though, and this might offer some setup help.

Terranova has answered a few of my questions via Facebook and even offered to supply parts to get my 8 buggy and truggy going again. They handled great and had some great innovations "breaks and anti-squat" and i never broke a part. I just need new seals for my diffs and wanted to update the steering in both. Now seeing the new buggy I am tempted to run it...

I still run them. I run the sister car the LRP S8 BXR Evo which is the Z10XB. Will switch over to Z15 when I cannot get the Evo anymore.

No Z15's here. I am the only LRP. Don't like the new rear design much. The car's strength is it's front end and the rear trailing arm design. I never have an issue with rear traction.
