Default Lightest buggy?

Yes I know lightest doesn't necessarily mean fastest, but I was just wondering which of the new buggies is the lightest in stock form. Thanks.

In stock form the Xray 808, I'd say. Guys I know have optioned them up a fair bit to make them more stronger, which also ends up adding weight.

Well....post a weight of the 808 then! I haven't weighed an 808 yet. Ready to go with out fuel here are some weights from my scale:

rc8 -about 7lb 12oz
8ight-about 7lb 10oz
Jammin x1x- about 7lb 14.5oz
GS cl-1 (advanced?)-about 7lb 15oz
Mugen MBX 5R-about 7lb 12oz

Obviously lots of variables, but you get the idea. The MBX-6 is supposed to be around 7lbs 6oz ready to go with out fuel from what I saw on Neo Buggy. My Jammin is lighter than any of those above though

I think that the hyper9 will be around 7.2lb with everything in it, including gas...

The wt.of the car without electronics,motor/pipe,fuel and battery is the only true test. I would guess the rc8,mbx6,xray,losi, kyoshomp9,D8 lightest to heaviest in that order....just a guess though. The lightest should be the cars with the carbon towers and the thinnest chassis. Not sure where the hyper 9 would fall in this test.

The Xray 808 is the lightest stock buggy on the market. 3200-3300 grams running. When people weigh cars they always forget the tire and foam weight can make a big difference. So If your going to start weighing cars make sure you use the same tires.
