just curious if anyone is using it with nitro vehicles, and some feedback

No, I personally do not like the feel of a drag brake on an off-road car. On the other hand, I run a 15% drag on my touring car. Apples and oranges, though.

Almost every pro and semi-pro racer I've seen uses drag brake, but I have yet to try it. I would think it'd take a little 'adjustment' away from jumping.
Hopefully someone that uses it will chime in.

If you are just learning to drive it could put a bandaid on some of your short comings .
However I think learning to drive without it and using the brake as needed will make you much better in the long run .
For me ......I go out every week and try to drive better ..............but I think "throttle/brake control is harder to get the hang of than steering .
If you let off the throttle in the middle of a jump with drag brake .....your car is going to nose drive ...........that is going to be annoying .............especially when you don't want it to do that .

I use just a touch of drag brake on my 1/10th gas, none on my 1/8th buggy, and a lil bit on my 1/8th truggy.
I am using it on the 2 vehicles to help with turn in and to keep me from having to apply brakes and possibly apply to much brake. It is especially helpful to me on the 1/10th truck.

i tried it once, but i kept having the feeling something was binding.... like a bearing or something. it did help to keep the nose down on some of the jumps that i tended to jump nose up. it also seemed to turn in a little better, but i couldn't shake the sensation of something being wrong, so i just went back to tapping the brakes when i needed and took all the drag out that i could.

At the moment, I have just taken all drag brake out of my eight, as I found it to be a real pain in the but. I tried it after a fellow racer suggested that I try it. I found that it also takes some throttle extension away from me, so I wasn't quite gettin full throttle

Yeah, it can be a hassle when you have drag brake and u don't have smooth throttle control.

Just an FYI

i thought that drag brake was added by tightening the brake linkages rather than adjusting with your radio? Or can you use dead band adj. to get throttle response back?

So you are moving neutral so the brakes don't drag on-throttle?
