I bought a (used) CEO modded vspec here, and tried to run it yesterday but it stalls at idle. I tried to set the idle screw so it idles higher, but no luck.

Compression is very good, clutch bearings are replaced, new glow plug, no airleaks. Anyone had similar problems? I can give it half throttle, but as soon as I release throttle, it dies.

Hmm that's an option, will clean her and re-try. Never had flooding in my RB engines though. Thanks for the tip.

bottoms probably to fat, also check your pressure line going to your pipe, i have had those get a small hole and do a similar thing, the motor would run great when i was racing it, just wouldnt idle

Check for bad exhaust gaskets too, they cause behavior similar to pinholes in the line. No pressure = weak fuel delivery
