Default RB C6BBT, what other plugs can I use?

Just wondering if anyone can list what other brands of plugs you are using with success in your Turbo C6's.

RB Plugs are costly and scarce in my area, any input is appreciated.

I also plan to run Byrons Gen 2 30% Nitro, should I be adding a headshim. I am at sea level.

Thanks Sean.

O'donnell and Rossi plugs will work.

OS plugs won't.

Yes, I would add a .1mm head shim.

Any nova made plug, Novarossi, RB, JP, Top, Rex, etc. Do NOT use OS plugs. Haven't tried Odonnell.

Also, the C6 should run fine on 30% without adding a shim but since you are worried about plug prices go ahead and add it. Plugs will last longer.

The taper is different on OS plugs. FYI - Standard OS plugs are shorter than normal plugs.

OS plugs will fit and the motor will run fine but due to a different taper they may leak. If you crank down hard to try and kill the leak you will distort the taper in the head and then all other plugs may leak.

I was under the impression that the O'donnell Turbo plugs worked in the V-spec, which would contradict using them in a Nova based engine...

Can anyone comment on this?

Thanks

OD97T is the only plug you need to have

C6 runs great on it

If you run 30%, Rb and Rody reccommend an extra head shim.

www.rb-usa.com check out the forums, many times this has been answered.

I have an OS plug in my C6L2G and am having no problems, yet anyway....

good luck with yours!
