Here are the measurements from the buggy center front and rear driveshafts measured from end to end.
95 mm front center
103 mm rear center

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info... I am making a chassis for my Ten-T to fit 4x4 SC and need a center rear CVD. I got the 8T rear center per someones suggestion and it was just under 2 inches to long, so I started looking at these. It would be nice if companies noted the dimensions of their products. Now I have an $22 accessory for my toolbox.

hey guys...just wondering if anyone has put anything on the end of the exhaust stinger to direct the unburnt fuel downward. currently mine is blowing back on the shock and rear wing and then the dust sticks to it. not causing any real problems but it makes it tougher to clean up...just wondering

you shouldnt have tons of fuel coming out unless your breaking in an engine, There will be a little but not much where its causing it to be a pain to clean

it causes mud/dirt to build/collect on the lower a-arms,the drive shaft, the shock body, shock springs, and the wing. its bc i have it tuned pretty rich. i am scared of smoking the engine and i have plenty of power(until driver skill improves) and i can clear the doubles and triples at my track.

I'm considering getting the 8ight 2.0 RTR Buggy and I just have a few general questions.

1.) How is the stock engine? I'm after speed. What speeds can I expect once broken in and tuned.
2.) Any essential/necessary/recommended upgrades to get off the bat? Or more specifically, what off the bat issues should be addressed?
3.) How long can I expect the stock clutch to last. I plan on driving on mostly dirt and maybe sand.
4.) Eventually I'd like to upgrade the engine for something better. What is a good high speed engine/tuned pipe combo for this car, <$200.

I'm new to nitro. I'm used to my baja and gasoline engines.
Sorry if this has been addressed before, but this thread it too big for it's own good.
Thanks!

-Tony

stock motor is very good (losi 350). i put a turbo plug conversion on mine, it keeps up with the best of them at local track, as for parts, nothing really needed, right out of the box it does well, the 4 shoe clutch that comes with, they only put 2 clutch shoes in a 4 shoe clutch, put 2 more clutch shoes in before running, just the 2 wont last long by themselfs, as for upgrading motor/pipe, there are plenty of suggestions in the forum and nitro motor threads, im not going to start a what motor is best pissing match here..., best bet is just do some research and dont be in a hurry to make desicions. have fun with your new buggy!!

Thanks for the info on the clutch i didn't know the rtr came with 2 clutch shoes. What shoes should i buy (4) along with the best springs the use the shoes with? I think someone mentioned green and black but im not sure? And should i just buy the racing clutch? im on a budget so i really just want to buy some shoes and springs but i have no idea what is the best combination and what items. Thanks everyone

Our NorCal 8 race series finally concluded on Sat and I was able to win the Buggy
Cold Fusion Fuel and XZ Speed engines go good in the Losi buggy.
