OK im looking at getting back into nitro and need help deciding on a truck to buy.

Class looking in: any thing offroad in my price range pretty much

Price range: $400 befor tax MAXIMUM

Things im looking for: Somethign that is good bashing and also handles pretty good on the track, 4wd if possible. easy layout to work on. Big name brand, easy to tune, and good part support. RTR, NITRO, and fairly fast

Things i've looked at so far: Jammin' 12th scale truggy RTR, Nitro rustler, T-Maxx, Savage, After shock.

Pretty much anythign that handles good on the track and is good at bashing too

Sorry, but I don't think any of those would handle all that well on a track. All would make decent bashers but as far as racing goes I don't think I would recommend them. If you have a price range you want to stay in I would recommend checking out some used stuff as it's cheaper to get into some of the higher end vehicles. If you're planning on bashing as well as running on the track I would maybe look at getting something like a Revo?? It's gonna be what YOU want in the end but that's my 2 cents.

Ive previously owned a traxxas nitro rustler 2.5. They are a weird car when u first pull them out of the box, but after a few minor adjustments with mine it flew. The little donk that was pushing it along was great. For the money get a Nitro Rustler, just be prepared to do a few minor things to make it go well. But as I say they are a great little car to drive
