These tyre are adheris 2, well know and successfull design for european track.

Funny detail is how the name was found. I was based one a contest launched by Medial Pro in France long time ago. They did publish the tyre but without a name, the contest was to find a decent name for them. And the winning name was "Adheris" which is a reference to adhesion.

If I would have to buy some tyre right I would buy some 6MIk, I have heard they are designed by some people that worked for medial pro

I dont see those tires being worth too much except maybe on a really rainy day. The set you put the link to look alittle more practical than the ones in that kit though, they look like bashing tires to me but who am I. I could be wrong.

I understand that you didn't know this range of tire, hard packed surface arn't very common here in europe.

Here the tirechart from an old box (medial pro used to be produce in France, now owned by a HK compagny)

Yes from at I have seen on video tracks here and over there are way different so I can see the need for different tires. But if Ishima brings their car to the US which I would welcome it, but they should consider including some different treads for US style tracks. Maybe make a US kit and a Euro kit or something.

good going for the Ishima.
With JQ's deal with himoto no more getting involved with Ishima is a good idea.
Mikey Chen of Casterracing ran the new ZX-1.5R at teh event and 1 other driver.

Some information about the race from Raphael on a French forum. (to resume)

JQ didn't make it because motor wheel was too large resulting motor flame out on big jump.
Romain did brake a steering servo horn 10 minutes before the end due to an "ejection" after being hit by a chinese car.

Driving level was high

The end of the race was tight for Raphael because his RX pack was almost empty.

Overall result are promising with 3 ishima in top 5 for Qualification and 3 of them in finale including one 2nd place on the podium
No problem on the car for that race

JQ found the car very easy and very fast.

I hate to pass judgment without have actually driven one, but watch this video and look at the way the front end bounces every time it lands flat..

In Europe that may be something you can adjust to, given that it could be more stable with nice rotation in the corners, but it wouldn't cut it on any of the national caliber tracks here.

That being said, I am glad that new innovative car designs are being tried, and hope that another large manufacturer can make a break in to the US buggy market.

hit by a Chinese car? You know every driver in this race are very polite to Ishima Team. When you are not the winner, the driver only complain the track or other drivers?

@ auto style
I have just done rough translation/resume, my interpretation might be wrong, nothing personnal
Orginal sentence

"Romain était 3 jusqu'à 10 minutes de la fin et sont palonnier de servo à cassé suite à un petit chinois qui la éjecter....."

@Seyruuen

I've notice that too, very odd behaviour indeed, look like it behave like a car with hard spring and empty shock
