BEST FUEL MILEAGE PIPE ????
Well I did a search ...........keywords are too general to really come up with anything so I apologize for starting another topic .
I have a Axial .28 spec rr ....in a Losi......it's just a cheapy $160 motor but it runs real impressive , holds a tune well , and so on .
Only bummer is........ in offroad racing outdoor I am only getting like 5 1/2 minutes to a tank of fuel . I would really like to see 6 plus minutes only to get 1 less stop if I am ever fortunate enough to get in a 30 minute main I want to take advantage it . Right now I am running a Dynamite ht700 which is like a carbon copy of a JP1 ...........
Looking for your thoughts ...........the only pipe I won't buy is is one of the OS ones ............simply becuase they cost more than the motor .LOL LOL .
TT2035?? Ofna 086 ?? I am hearing all kinds of stuff .
Thank you all in advance for your replies . Dave

i have gotten good fuel economy with the tt associated 2035 pipe with every engine i have tried it on, another way to get better economy is to be smooth on the trigger, its hard to get alot of time out of a .28 but the jp1 style pipe definatly wont help with the issue

If all you need is 30 seconds, don't bother with a pipe. Add a big fuel filter, or go to a smaller venturi or add a head shim or drop the nitro %. All cost less then a pipe.

Thanks guys.............. those are really easy cost efficient things to do . If I still wanted to get a pipe as well what do you recommend ??

I just got 10 mins using a jp4 with an eb modded v-spec.
Was bq got a horrid start went a lap down and decided lets play the fuel mileage game ended up 2nd and just bout won. Everyone I know with the jp-4 gets at least 730 run time. It does choke the bottom a bit(not a problem for me eb has to much anyway) but thats the price you pay to go 10 mins plus.

Yeah, JP-4 does give super mileage. And yes, it does choke at the bottom...helps me out a lot from getting over excited while exiting the corner though

the os pipes work good on os engines, i have tried on a few other engines and they were not good for them, i would try the 2035 its cheap enough, and if you decide to upgrade your engine, it will work good on just about anything, i have run it on os speeds, grp, novarossi it was good on anything i put it on

JP3 i would suggest as well as goung down to a smaller venturi as the .28 has ample rip as well as maybe go up a tooth on the clutch bell to smooth out the power band.
Biggest improvement would be to discipline the throttle finger.
All other suggestions above would also contribute.
