Default Newbee - Diff question

I bought a car 2nd hand which i was informed had all the diffs rebuilt 1 race before i purchased it.

however the centre diff is wet on the outside.. I'm sure this isn't normal, but is this a problem.

Should i rebuild this diff with new gaskets.

It doesn't appear to be dripping, just has a wet look to it.

thanks in advance

Whenever I buy a used rig, I completely strip the car down and inspect and rebuild anything that needs to be rebuilt. Then I put the car back together. I suggest that you do the same so that you can check everything on the car. You may find stuff that needs attention once you have it completely taken apart which you probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't stripped the car down. Good luck with your new rig.
