Default question for kyosho people on gears

hey i am needing a 44 tooth center diff gear for a kyosho 7.5 and cant find one that kyosho makes i did however find a hotbodies buggy 44th gear does any one know if it will work on the kyosho or not like the front and rear diff gears do

OK , the car you have must be a ready to run Sports version I take it ?
Otherwise it will use the 46 tooth spur. The 44 is for the older Sports that has the aluminium diff ring and pinion sets(WAY BAD!) These diffs can be swapped out for the 777 units and are much more durable, but you may need to also change the bulkheads as the bearings for the pinions are an odd size.
Best bet is to upgrade to the 777 front and rear everything.
You can also use the 46 tooth spur and a 14 tooth bell ,this will give you a touch more topend ,or keep it 13/46 for better punch.
If your playing witih it in the dirt then I would go with the 13/46 combo for sure, but on pavement 14/46 for sure.
