New HB Truggy???

Did anyone see what Ty Tessman was running in the Truggy class at the Manufacturers Cup last weekend? I'm just wondering if it was a "new" truggy based on the D8 or if it was just an updated LSP. To put what many consider an "outdated" design into the A-main at a major event is quite impressive, if he was infact running an LSP!

As far as i know it was the old truck with some suspension mods to it and a bit of other prototype parts... I don't think they'll have a new truck for a bit...

I would like to see some pics and set up info for the truggy's that Ty and Travis have been running. It would be nice to have some new set up options for those of us that are still running the LSP..its still a competetive platform( Ty had one in the A at a MAJOR event) it just needs a bunch of mods to stay with the rest of the newer truggies.

Hi Coaltrain

The truggy I have been running at the last couple of events is a prototype truggy with test parts, it is a totally different platform than the LSP, Hotbodies is using info gained from the drivers at these races to design the new truggy.

Cool, Thanks for posting Ty. I'm assuming that it's based off of the D8 (D8T?) that explains why there have been no pics of your current set up on-line....it's top secret!!! :D

Need to remember lightning was imported not made by Hotbodies it's made by Sacker. Google sacker buggy or something close to that. This is hotbodies/hpi first buggy and going for another truggy. I see the D8 buggy uses hellfire style front hubs and spindles

Any word on a new Truggy(D8T) yet?
