I just got a HB Lightning from a friend. For the most part it's in good shape, but it turns out that the tank is shot. Does anyone know if the tank from the Lightning 2 will fit?

After looking at it really closely, it looks the exact same as the original. Makes me wonder if other parts from the Lightning 2 will fit it.

I think a lot of the parts will carry over, you can contact customer service to make sure.

If you aren't racing you could run a tank from the jammin crt with no mods. It is 150cc instead of the 125cc stock tank. 150cc is illegal for buggy racing though.

Nah....not gonna be racing this....I got an 8ight for that. This is just gonna be a basher. It looks like the Lightning 2 tank will fit though. Thanks.
