Default Novarossi P5XS and 30% nitro

Just bought a new Nova P5XS and 9886 pipe and need to know if the head needs to shimmed any differently for 30% nitro? Not much to the instruction manual but I read they are shimmed up to 25%? What, if anything, needs to done to run 30% and would it last any longer? I didn't get the life I thought I would have out of the V-Specs and want to be on the safe side with this motor. I'll sacrifice a little power if it will last longer. Thanks.

I just bought a new p5xs, and plan on running 20% because it will idle better and because 30% isn't going to be available in my area in the upcoming months..

I say run 20% and just fatten it up a bit

30% is fine to run, no shimming required. Break it in right and it will be good to you.

Ok thanks. I will just run it as is. I would switch to 20%, but I have 2 cases of 30% left. When did they add the nitro engine forum? Or did they switch the forum menu around a bit? I would have put this post in that. Didn't even notice it.
