Default Are Hyper 7, 8, 8.5 parts interchangeable?

I am looking at a Hyper 7 Pro (like new for $175) and am worried about getting parts for the wearing parts over the next couple of years. I am doing a brushless conversion and I sure that there will be broken drive train parts and I don't want to invest in this OLDER buggy if I wont be able to get parts for at least a couple years. Do you think I should buy such a old buggy. Your help is appreciated.

I can't think of any part that is interchangeable between the H7 and H8/8.5, I do know that the Hyper ST (truggy) is based on the H7 buggy so some parts are interchangeable on that one, but there are a lot of parts for the hyper 7 on ebay so you should be fine.

From personal experience, I can tell you that the wing mount is the same. You might have better luck posing this Q in the Hyper thread, or better yet, check out Ofna's forums.

I had hell trying to find parts for my H7, thats why I dont race it anymore, I still own it but it just sits on the shelf anymore. The Hyper ST is based off the H7 but actually very few parts are interchangable. I do however have Hyper st shocks on my H7. So if you need a set of H7 shocks let me know I will let them go cheap.

Hyper 7 parts are not that hard to find they steel make a lot of parts for it i race one and have had no problem finding parts in this months RC Driver magazine they do a review of the Hyper 7 TQ Sport Black Edition. If they are make a new Hyper 7 Black Edition way would they not make parts for a car they are selling and making.
