Default Jato brake problem

A friend of mine has a Jato 2.5 that runs good, but it's having a really bad brake problem. Basically, it has little to no brakes, which makes diving it a pain. I helped him check it out and we didn't find anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone else had this problem with a Jato? I was thinking that the cam was worn down but it looks fine. I already searched here but didn't find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to get some pics later.

Assuming you've already adjusted the linkage, I'd try changing the endpoint adjustment on his radio to allow more throw on the brake side.

I googled the jato just to help! I don't know what radio he has but assuming its crappy... I'd adjust it through the linkage. Tighten it but make sure not to go too far that it will drag all the time.
