Default New Hyper team for SoCal Locals...

If you race a Hyper series buggy or truggy, and race in the SoCal area, then we'd like for you to be a part of our local team that we are putting together.

We race mostly at Revelation Raceway (which is one of the best tracks in the country), and we have a blast every weekend.

We have come up with "SoCal Team HoBao" for the name, and it consists of several racers here on RCTech, and from the Ofna.com forums.

I've been told that t'shirts are already in the process of being made, and they will have your screen name (or nickname, like PB&M (pit b!tch, mechanic[sorry Brandon])), and any sponsors you want listed, so everyone will know who is who...

So don't be intimadated by us... Join us...

Have Fun...Burn Nitro...

Well I wish I would have known that BEFORE buying my RC8.

Yes, the team is just awesome to hang out in the pits with. Some of the stories though, you really got to watch what you say. Things do get construed easily at our pit tables. But oh what a blast we have.

The RC Break I mean RC8? I would sell out and go with the Hyper myself but maybe that's just me.

I was running with "Team HoBao" in the PC days when the Hyper 7 first came out. I raced with Paul quite a bit at Proline and @ The Dirt.

If the Hyper 9 was out it would have been a no brainer, I would have purchased it instead.

It has been solid for me so far, and I didn't even have the service pack on it. I'm very happy with the car.

Your one of the lucky few my friend. most of the people that race them at Rev end up breaking in the qualifiers.

Most good 1/8 scale cars only break when you are doing something stupid, or overdriving. I had a MP6 International, then a Hyper7, and just got back into it with my RC8. My throttle servo died in my main 2 weeks ago, but that is not the car's fault.

I had that happen to me awhile back. That is almost heartbreaking to sit there and not be able to run. Of course...I've had my engine break in on me in the middle of my main tooTalk about going from fast to ... slow...
