Default McCoy Plugs in an OS Engine

Can I run mccoy MC-59 glow plugs in my OS .12 CV and CVR? I know that OS engines require short plugs. Would I have to add head shims to run the mc59's or could I even run them at all?

Pull the head off and give it a look. If it sticks through too far just add a plug shim. Idealy it should have the sides flush with the corner of the hole. If it protrudes into the firing chamber, past the hole's opening, it will not run efficiently.

IF you use a thicker copper plug shim then they work fine. The plugs that O'Donnell make for OS engines are nothing more than their regular plugs with a thicker shim.
