NEED ADVICE ABOUT CARBON FIBER CHASSIS!!!
im building a road track t maxx and wanted to go lite. i found a carbon fiber chassis. what you think???

it looks killer and is nib. but worried it will crack easly from motor vibrition and stress

how much would you think a chassis like that would cost?

I like alloy chassis since it dispatch heat better. Have you seen any pro rider using a carbon chassis (doesn't matter f it is off or onroad). In my opinion stick to the alloy chassis because if the motor becomes too hot and chassis is not made well the layers of the carbon become loose and your chassis is worthless than.

i know a couple Pro's who run Carbon chassy's.
and FWIW Quality CF will NOT de-laminate from heat....when the sheet is cured in the mandrel they crank up the temp to 4-500degrees....unless your running your motor significantly hotter then that you would never dream of having the come apart.
