revo clutch
i have a revo with a os 18. since i've put this in i've burned up two clutchs. i've just started to drive on a track and been working on driving better so i'm on and off gas alot. so that may be my problem. but i was wondering what a good upgrade on the clutch would be? thanks.

I also run the TM.18 but I use the MIP clutch/robinson racing clutch bell, I have about 1 1/2 gal still no problems.. does slip a little but zero maint.. so I can except the minor slippage ....

thanks for the replys. what kinda maintance do you usually do to the clutchs?

With my setup there is none! I've been racing every weekend on the same clutch for almost 2 months.

clutch
bearings man bearings. I clean the bearings with motor spray then boil them in mobil 1 oil until the oil turns black, wipe them off an install them back in. I have been doing this in all my nitros and in 4 years NEVER had a clutch bearing failure. I do this after every weekend of racing. also after a couple weekends or so I will replace them with new bearings (AMAIN $1 bearings)... then when my buds needs a bearing they get the used ones, they never know the difference...

LOL that sounds like a lot of work to save $1. I'm telling you I haven't so much as even taken off the CB in 2 months. Shimmed correctly bearing will last more then 1 weekend.

I agree they SHOULD last more than a weekend. for what little effert it takes to maintain them, peace of mind knowing they will last for a 30 min. main is well worth the time it takes to keep them in good shape. ur right it is a lot of work just to save a couple of bucks but i have 3 different trucks besides I enjoy doing it..

Kind of late since you bought the M2C, but here's another option if anyone else is interested.
