Default distance throttle lag

hi guys, i just brought a hyper 7 nitro buggy from scotty in mildura, on the weekend. if taken it out and gave it a thrashin and its goin good. but have noticed when i go far away the throttle starts to lag alot, i guess this is starting to mean thats its about to go out of range. is this normal? i am going to get a fail safe when they come in anyway but untill then its a bit unsafe i suppose

How do you know it's lagging? Are you going of what you can see or what you can hear?

Check your batteries in the car and the transmitter as your first stop.
