Sportwerks Turmoil Brakes Question

Sportwerks Turmoil Brakes Question
Hello,
I recently found that after running on the track for any length of time, my brakes begin to fade badly on my Turmoil Pro. Is there any aftermarket discs and/or pads that will fit on this buggy and what do you recommend. Thanks for any help.

From what I have heard these discs are pretty good,

As far as pads, I just use the stock ones... Haven't tried anything else...

Good Q. I have one to. I never had any trouble with the breaks but I would some day like to get rid of the pads. So I would just peel the pads and get a measurement of the outer diameter of the disc and get some thing like this.

Or Amain they have a lot of different ones on there to.

Hmmm... those Thunder Tiger disks are an interesting concept. Not sure if that works or is just hype, but the concept is interesting.
Also, Craddock disks are great too!
I am pretty sure the Losi disks fit your buggy... the diff cases I know for sure interchange, and I think the rest do too, meaning the outdrives, which are what the disks fit on...
I don't know what the stock setup is on your buggy... are the front and rear disks the same size, or bigger in the front like the Losi? 1 disk or 2? Metal disks with composite pads, or composite disks with metal pads?
If they are the same size, and IF there is room, try doubling up... run 2 disks and 3 pads on the front, leave the rear a single, if you only have 1 front disk. (and use the disks like the Losi or Craddock ones- composite disks with metal pads.) Set the brakes up with a pad, then a disk, then a pad, then a disk, then a pad. You might need longer screws. My bud did this to his Jammin, works great. (My nice lightweight Losi has plenty of brakes stock... )
Note I said do this on the front... unless you run more rear bias to slide the car around corners, the front brakes are most of your stopping power.
Hope this helps!

Turmoil
Hello,
Thanks guys for all the info. Is anyone 100% sure of any other brand (losi, mugen, kyosho, etc.) discs or pads that will fit my Turmoil Pro. I want to go ahead and order some things but want to make sure that I am getting the correct parts. THANKS!
