Default How to check engine pinch?

How much pinch should a two race motor have? best way to know if it's no good?

If it will not stay running when up to temp, it is not enough pinch.

It is hard to tell when cold, and the amount of pinch can vary from engine to engine, and also depends on how much oil is in the chamber.

When it is really easy to turn over when cold, it is near the end of its life.

take engine out hold flywheel and tilt head slightly over if the compression can hold the engine in situ its good, if it falls through "easily" time to get the savings out, or ask someone with a compression gauge
