Could have just been that Tebo was in one of his moods...

That's a bummer. He was very gracious with me at the NATS, letting me take all the pictures I wanted with the body off.

I guess everyone is entitled to a foul mood every once in a while.

I asked him if I could take pics of his buggy and truggy with the bodies off at a race recently. He said go ahead on the truggy, but not the buggy. He wasn't a jerk about it at all. My guess is he is testing new stuff at some of the "smaller" races.

Hi JD, I am going to guess. I know on my buggy that area is right where a screw comes in from the bottom of the chassis to fasten the rock guard. Over time the pipe and manifold rest on top of that area and it wears down the rock guard and the pipe. I bet that piece is to prevent that from happening. Kanai is a really sharp guy.

I've stared at the car multiple times the past few days.

Nothing uber-trick or new to see. Just a nicely built and very clean TKI3.

Tebo is super nice. He's quiet, which some people confuse to be "in a mood" I suppose. He has a job to do and it takes concentration, so while we're out here playing, the pro guys are being paid to work.
