Can someone tell me the purpose of running the thin wheel hex in the rear and the thick in the front? Why have two different thicknesses. I have a set of wheels that rub on the rear upright because the female hex on the wheel is too deep. Fits fine in the front. Page 900 owned! haha
Thanks!

What did he say about the motors?

After the buggy race he said the motor was running on. Pretty good sign that it was too lean.

You guys are pretty quick to rubbish something that was 'playing up' in just one race, when you don't know the circumstances behind the issue.

The only wheels that rubbed like that for me were the stock kyosho wheels that came with my kit

I've seen this asked on here. As I remember possibly to pass tech and more rear grip

Actually, he complained about it in more than one race.

Also, nitro is correct in that Tebo mentioned multiple times that his engine was out to lunch - during both the warmup and the final. Also, during the Truck final, he said that after his first fuel stop the engine was not making good power.

Not saying anything bad about the engines, obiviously they are good considering the number of championships and races they assisted in winning.

How long has Tebo been running Orion? Unless they have made changes at the factory I would be looking at the only other thing that changed in his motor program this season.

Ryan was on his game, not one mistake, he deserved the win, Tebosho got trashed at the start and an AMAZING job by finishing 2nd after a bad marshal safety caused. He would had most likely won it wasn't it for the bad start. Boots.......well........he's just not lucky. But Ryan is fast. He's just driving the wrong car.

IMO the instability they are seeing is from the carb...back in 2010 that factory delivered an awesome carb, however for god only knows what reason they decided to changed the internal design of their carbs for 2011 and they have never worked the same afterwards..The new carb design is more thermally sensitive and the LSN is nearly impossible to set correctly...... I believe the factory was aiming to try to squeeze more runtime, but in doing so they made the carbs a nightmare to tune......They had a great thing going, but couldn't leave it alone..........The new carbs have a much more restricted fuel passage which greatly increases the heat transfer from carb into the fuel..which cause a gas bubble to develop which causes the engines to start running erratic when pushed............. I tried telling the powers to be about this several years ago, but what does I know !
