There was someone a few pages back asking about shimming the ackerman plate. I tried looking for the post, but there's a whole bunch of junk the last handful of pages...

Anyway, if the ackerman plate is old, it might need to be replaced. The steel bushings will oval out the aluminum ackerman plate over time - it's just the nature of the components (steel on aluminum). It would be a long time though, like a season's worth of racing. But, if it's relatively new, you want to add some shims onto those pins that bolt the ackerman plate to the servo saver and steering link. The way it's designed, there's a step in the pin that keeps you from overtightening it and binding the steering. Just add a few shims on the top side, and it should allow you to snug it up. I hope that makes sense, kind of hard to explain.

I'd welcome you to try an MP9 - grab a buddy's and wheel it for a few laps, see what you think of it. If you're in the SoCal area, I'd be happy to hand you my transmitter and let you run a few tanks on mine.

No kidding. I never needed it. They should put one on the other side and offer a syringe attachment for fast fluid changes. It wouldn't be as effective as taking it apart and cleaning it but you could freshen it up without taking it apart.

WOW, Boots, Aigoin AND Tebo dropped due to non chassis failures! Tebo with a broken arm but probably because he was pushing hard after his flameout.

Only King (P6) and Ronnefalk (P10) in the final for Kyosho. Tessman on pole, followed by Batlle and Hara.
