Thats all i do in st. louis is test. I've been running the truggy shock bodies with the medium shafts and flat shock caps. With the shocks on the outside holes on are and middle on the tower.

Up front no big change but i might test the medium shock bodies and small shaft on the outside on the arms with flat cpas. OR use the small shocks with old caps

No that wasn't it, the shock bodies were bigger in size than the current Big bore shocks.. Kanai is always testing new parts and new ideas so I would be surprised if we do not see anything new? Will see.

no, i use a pair of calipers to measure the droop.

i set my droop
then ride height
then camber.
then i recheck ride height again.

Default more steering please

hi All,
Had a maiden track day with the K today, it definitely a crazy nice car to drive, unbelievable stability both on ground and air, lands like a cat, bery very forgiving and fast... I NEVER try a car that drive this nice out of the box....full stop....However, i can use more steering as i always got beaten on tight 180 or chicanes. I also drive well sorted serpent and team c and both crave corner like flipping a book, off course both are well sorted already as i have owned both for months and today was only my first day with the K.

The setup of the K car is box stock except FRONT orange spring, 1.3x6 piston, 500 cst, REAR stock blue spring, 1.3 x8 piston, 475 cst. Everything else box stock.

Any advice to get more steering? Both on and off power... Thanks in advance folks....

Default ride height

Recently when resetting my ride height (29/29) I am almost running out of threads on the shock bodies to move the collars down. I recently replaced all my front and rear plastics and my droop is set to 99/118.

I don't notice any adverse affects from this, but it sure looks strange compared to other's K cars. Thoughts?

I presume Kyosho France is the cheapest place to order a TKI3? It doesn't give me the option to fill out my billing/shipping address properly. I can only choose from French cities.

Anyone order from them before, or know of a place domestically that sells them a little cheaper?

Why the difference in the front to standard setup?Have you tried 1.3 x 8 and blue springs at front?

This might sounds stupid, but i rUn that (soft spring upfront 1.3x6) on my serpent and i get crazy steering just thinkin to give it a try Initially i wanted to run 1.3x8 straight hole all around but lhs have only a pair on stock, so i run 1.3x8 rear and 1.3x6 front. I tried blue spring upfront with 1.3x6, but i definitely get more steering with orange spring upfront.....should i try stock tappered hole 1.3x8 or what? Thanks for any advice.

Other than the need for more steering, this car kick ass in any other aspects....

I do not know the price sell by Kyosho France but the store "Wartelle Shop" sells them 599 euros.

I have a little problem, Im running the stock clutch on an Alpha A852 and after a few tanks (runs) the clutch ends up stuck/engaged so it is driving the whole time, this happened last weekend so I re-shimmed it, Im using three thin shims not the 132 one, I guess Im doing something wrong the way Im shimming it or is it caused by that the clutch hitting the chassis, could this bee creating heat or problems to the clutch?

I used a dremmell, and dremmelld away some of the material on the chassis under the clutch bell, but I must take away more or just drill a hole, like Ive seen some have done here on RC Tech..

How are you all shimming the stock clutch? photos are always good

/K

Are you sure your clutch bearings may not be the issue?
