I'm coming from an MBX6 and am wanting to try an MP9. is the TIKI3 noticeably better than the TKI 2?

I'm trying to figure out if I'd be satisfied with the TKI2 or if I need to hold out for the updated car.

anyone gone from mugen to kyosho and can give me an idea of the difference in handling?

Only difference is the radio tray, front shock tower and the thicker universals. The radio tray can be updated for about $50 but there isn't any changes that would make the car handle different except for the forward mount battery box

ive gone from mugen to kyosho, the difference is handling, mugen is smooth car entering and out corner, kyosho car is so fast to entering corner dan out corner.

you can more push your car with kyosho, its my opinion (sorry if my english is bad)

Hey guys I've got a question. I'm planning on switching from my XB9 and buying a TKI3 but what I am trying to find out is if there is anything special I need to do or buy so I can do it while building the kit. For instance I remember the older mp9's having outdrive problems and people were using agama ones to fix it or if there is any extra shimming or other extra build things that isn't in the manual but y'all have found needs to be done. Or has everything been pretty much fixed and is pretty much dead on when built. I've owned several cars in the past but this will be my first Kyosho so I'm anxious to see how it turns out. Thanks in advance for the info.

Some of the first tki3 kits had over hardened out drives and some people used other out drives and if you bought the kit in the states kyosho would send you free replacements I have owned the tki1, 2 and 3 and have only broke one outdrive and a dog bone came out and I was trying to pop it back in with a screw driver in the middle of a race, nothing is need as upgrades in the kit and it comes with shims you may need for the diffs. The only thing you may want to switch is different shock pistons depending on what you prefer

I have a D8 hara, just wondering if anyone can compare the two...Im thinking of making the switch! Ive tried everything to get the buggy to handle and it just remains inconsistent, wanting something a little easier to drive and win some races!
