I guess it pays to take your time with diffs etc. I wonder what the record time is for completing a kit?? start to finish?

I bought all the spares necessary to run the Cody King loose dirt setup, but I think I might try the Dirt Nitro challenge setup from the FARM. Anyone tried both setups, be keen to hear how they compared. Cheers
I've hammered one together in less than 5 hours, not including body though, I used an old shell to get me over the line.

Looks Like I am staying with the Agama front and rear outdrives for good also. Coming from Agama I know how long they will last me. I would say I am good for about a full season before replacing. Have you seen the new Agama outdrives with the curvature at the tip for more up swing? I wonder if it would work on the TKI3

You may want to start with his base setup and work from there; the MP9 is a very easy car to get working on almost any track. I don't want to say it's a "one setup car" but it's not far off.

Base Setup

If you need more rear grip, lay the rear shock down on the tower 1 hole, and move the inner camber mount to the middle hole (#8).

just noticed this from the xray set up books, one from the older XB8 the other from their set up station book, lots of people use these guides as their bible, but unless the cars themselves are so different that the physics have changed between them, I think perhaps there may be an error!! open them both up and read the effects side by side they contradict each other completely, personally I have used the XB8 set up section of the manual on account of it covering the cars i have run in the past better, where as the new 808 doesn't but which one is correct or could both of them be !!!!????

see what you guys think.

I have found the older definition to be true. Higher roll center makes the car much more responsive.

I just pulled the trigger on one of these here MP9 Tki3 kits, i bought rear-, front-, front top arms and a spare wing. Is there anything els that I should have? Im coming from Durango over to the Red Army! Air cleaner, I forgot to order extra air cleaners.

Will the RB off road starter box work on the Mp9 TKi3? Ill be running my Alpha A852, I think that will make the buggy fly.

Are there oils included in the KIT?

Just finishing my TKI3 kit tonight, such a nice kit to put together. Kyosho up the stakes with each release, stoked that they included the flanged ball end was a good touch.

The kit comes with the tapered pistons that no one seems to use, so depend on the setup you are going to try I ordered the 1.3 x 8 straight pistons for the front and rear.

I also bought the DE Racing skid plates front and rear.

Just the diff oils, 2 x 5k 1x 3k so you need to buy the shock oil. The kyosho rims you get look like a good design and fit AKA rubber perfectly.

I've been told that we won't see any more TKI3s until August 20th (or so) here in N.America. So if you do find one, pull the trigger or you will be waiting until August.
