I used to run a LiFe with my KO switch. Just make sure you turn off the Lipo cutoff function on the switch.

It is designed specifically for use with LiPo packs so definitely no probs using it with a LiFe battery. Here's a pic of it in the updated TKI3 mount.

Thank's DC/Aaron for the reply. I guess the transponder just goes in the radio box right?

You can do that or put it in the area behind the rx box, where the normal style switch would be mounted or you can run it underneath the KO switch, on the underside of the transponder mount. The new rx box has an opening for the wires to be passed through from both the top and also the bottom of the mounting plate.

From Pitpop's post #4575 or start at this link:

Also, searched "drill chassis". That should give you a place to start.

Hey Sean, saw the results from the Grassroots series this past weekend - great run. Looks like Kyosho did really well. Gotta find a way to catch that Cody guy.

Are you headed to AMS this year?

They already are on sale in retail LHS in some parts of the world (but unfortunately not mine). I know JE Spares in the UK has had them in stock and on sale for about 2-3weeks now.

Anyone know if the AKA wheel nuts are the right thread type for the mp9 hubs? How are the kyosho nyloc nuts?

Yep, just tested them and the AKA's thread on perfectly. The Kyosho nyloc wheel nuts are great too, no problems with them or the AKA wheel nuts.

I've never use them but I will be surprise if it does not fit into mp9 wheel hub since we know how close the two of them are.

I prefer to use the Jconcept one, make things more cleaner on the inside. and if you are buying the Kyosho nut, might want to consider Jconcept.

Thanks man, it was a great 1-2 finish for Kyosho, Pro-Line, Team Orion, Byron's, and Lucky7. Yeah, that Cody guy is stupid fast lol. But it's funny, Cody and I were talking on the drive home and there's a few things I need to tweak in terms of my driving style to get faster - mainly slowing down. It was a 20 min main and I did one stop at 10 min, and at the end of the race when PK was telling me to be smooth and conserve fuel, I ran my fastest laps but they felt the slowest, go figure.

I wish I could head out to AMS, but it's tough to take off that much time from my job (I'm the Lead Test Engineer at StopTech Brakes) and the travel expenses are pretty steep to cover on my own too. I'm trying to do nationals this year but we will see how that plays out...

On a side note, I've let a couple guys I know drive my car this past week, both of them drive something else but are thinking of a Kyosho, and both were able to run faster laps than their own cars on the first tank with the Kyosho...
