Shelf price was around $1250 here in Perth for the TKI 1 plus you get a lot more upgrade parts on the new one.

65000 yen is only $742 US so that is cheaper than the tki and isn't a bad price considering what you get when the SE kit is $600

Proline Bulldog for the AE fits nice indeed on the MP9! You've got to cut some alternative lines and be carefull around the tank. Also the stock airfilter wil push hard on the roof, need to lower it. I just wanted to see and try this style of bodies, in a month the TKI2 body will be available, can't wait for that one!

The bulldog body is bad a$$, I just had a JC rc8b punished body painted but it doesn't cool the engine like the bulldog. The bulldog keeps the engine like 10-15 degrees cooler give or take, I have a painted bulldog but it's getting old so time for a new one, it's at the painter now.

is it worth buying the kyosho ones?

I am very confused with this issues because the kyosho have those two extra whole on the top and i can buy also the 2mm offset..

I dont know if it will help me in any way or if i will just through 70 dollars..

Also what other option parts should i buy?

Default Springs

Does anyone know what lenght springs Tebo is using on his setup with the medium towers and shocks. I have heard some talking about using the 95mm rear springs and others talk about the 84mm springs.

Default Setup question!

Guys, I just haven't had the time to read through all 200 plus pages so I started at 183 and read all the way to the last page. So here are my questions and for those of you that are kind enough to respond please do so in a pm as I don't get to check the site that often and don't want to miss your reply.

This is the track I race at on a weekly basis. In race prep it's not nearly this loose, however, it's been very dry down here and we hadn't watered yet:

http://www.capefearraceway.com/

I wanted to ask a few questions as I've just picked up a lightly used MP9 TKI. I am planning to run it with the stock rear shock configuration for the time being, yellow/purple springs, and wanted to know what pistons most guys are running and what option pistons I should be considering? Also, I have the updated front upper arms, bulkheads and aluminum upper arm holder and aluminum rear lower arm holder. It sounds like I need to pick up a few more sets of the upgraded bushings. Is this the correct part number for the bushings:

KYOIF442KG

Are guys still running the 4x10x.05 washer behind the front and rear lower arms? Please make recommendations if there is something that I've forgotten to ask about or simply overlooked!

Thanks guys for your time!

And for those Kyosho fans with a severe case of sticker shock, Kyosho has re-released the SE edition of the kits as well

We will have stock on both of those by the end of August we expect.

I called Kyosho today and the kit will be no cheaper than $825 ANYWHERE, built $850, that's with the hobby shop making like no money on a $800 kit! I love my mp9 but I'd rather take my SE buggy which already has most of the upgrades and get the rest for a couple hundred bucks.

Not very reassuring. That having been said, the "new lower price" was touted and bandied about whenever the new car was discussed, so I dare to think that there might (hopefully) still be a pleasant surprise for us once it actually hits shelves.

I'm with you though: start off with the SE which is fine, and upgrade to the better parts as the stock ones wear.

We are a Kyosho dealer trust me that's the price. A main has a price of $900 for the kit and that's actually pretty decent price seeing how no tax if your out of state. I can backorder the kit if I want to but even dealer cost is VERY pricy.
