@Matthijs: Are you using Orion Vortex servos for steering on your MP9e? I'm looking into getting one but don't know which one is best suited for my MP9e. They've got quite a line-up:

VDS-1007
VDS-2015
VDS-1409

Key, I'm a team driver for Kyosho and Joe Pillars sent me the 2015's, which I have been running in my Mp9 for 8 months. I really like them.

I have used them all.

VDS-1007: Super Fast but a little light on torque for 8th scale steering. Wouldn't use for throttle/brakes.

VDS-1409: Fast and strong. Great steering servo and decent for throttle/brakes

VDS-2015: Crazy torque. Awesome for throttle/brakes but I found it a little slow for steering.

I am currently using the VDS-1409 for steering and VDS-2015 for throttle/brakes in my Nitro car

In my MP9e I am using the VDS-1409 for steering and found it to be the best of the three for that.

neither... I'm using Hitec 7955 in all my car's. In nitro on 7.4 lipo direct with kopropo receiver & in the mp9e on 6v. On 6v it's fast enough and very strong. I mostly drive on astroturf with lots of grip. I can use all the steering & holding power I can get, hence the Hitec on lipo in the Nitro car. When I prepared my MP9e I choose to use Hitec again for steering to I can change servo's if one fails on a race day without changing endpoints, centerpoints and horns. I do like the Orions, but the hitec never seem to fail or give me any reason to change ;-)

Tor, Johnnyboy, Matthijs >> thank you for the valuable info! Hitec makes sense if that's all you're using but I'm gonna go for the Orion VDS-1409 for steering that JB mentioned.

Default set-up sheet

Here is a set-up sheet for the SE, it pretty much works for all the MP9 buggies. It's not editable, but it's the current sheet anyway. If I can dig up an editable sheet I will post it. I think there is one available maybe on the Japan site.

Joe Pillars said the TKI 2.0 kits are not expected for another 2 months or so!

Has anybody found more details on the new kit? NeoBuggy listed a few things...but the info was limited.

Default MPTKI2

The release date of the the new kit should be sometime in July....but that is in Japan, so I would expect it to hit the US in August....

The new parts:
New body
New Air Filter
Captured Tie Rod ends
Aluminum Rear hubs(looks like plus 2mm style)
Aluminum Rear Arm Holder
Medium Rear Tower
Threaded Shock Bodies
Aluminum Wing Mount Braces
Aluminum Radio Tray Posts
All updated Plastic
New Dish Wheels
Updated Tank Pull

Walid
Pics do not show it but there are updated rear outer hinge pins(hardened version) that are out, but not sure if it going to come on TKI2 car.
There is a prebuilt car that is also going to be released.....

97% of the parts listed are available as we speak.

The only items not available except for the shock bodies are nitro specific: threaded bodies, body (i like the first gen.), updated tank pull and air filter.

I dont understand why they didnt just put out a service pack or update pack for the TKI.. I still think a new truggy would have been the way to go.
