Does anyone have an updated set-up sheet from Cody or Tebo? I'm wondering what shock oils they are using with the green and blue springs.

Anyone with a MP9 SE or a TKI with the Med. Rear shocks. How much droop are you using, I read somewhere 116mm. What does this equate to if measuring droop from the bottom of the rear hub carrier to a flat surface?

Thanks

Cody is running the same oil as he did with the old springs.

I would like to know that to MotorHead!!!!! Someone needs to measure from the chassis to the buttom of the hub.

Ive been running the arms touching the chassis, and then having the screw touch the chassis, then give it 1 full turn once it touches the metal

Whats everyone's favorite front and rear shock pistons and oil?

Yeah, I read that Tebo prefers to put the car on a buggy wheel and using calipers measure from the bottom of the hub carrier to the table. Im trying to see if its possible to hit the same droop measurements with the long and med rear shocks. Both my cars have the long shocks on them.

As far as shocks, I like 1.2x8 35 wt Front and 1.3x8 30 wt Rear

Lately I've been messing around with 1.4x8 angled front pistons - 40wt Losi front/ 1.3x10 - 35wt Losi rear. Less pack.

Here is a link to all the setups I've messed with in the last year or so. Most are for the MP9, some others for the STRR and a few for the WC. I don't think I have the updated STRR setup on there though, its 10/15/2.

I should be testing the new 1.4 springs this weekend. I'll let you guys know how they compare.

we have been running 120mm droop in the rear. The most I've seen is almost 124mm maxing out the med shock set-up. I'm thinking of changing my SE to the longer TKI so I can achieve a lil more droop to keep the inside rear tire planted in the corners? I've noticed s lot of tire lift with the SE setup snd the buggy wants to slide out.

I'm running 122mm of droop in the rear with 35wt losi ft and 30wt losi rear and my son's running 121mm with 32.5 ft and 27.5 rear.

His car is easier to drive but less responsive and doesn't pop of the jumps as well as mine.

Will the MP9 brake disc and pads work on any of the other Inferno buggies??

Yes they should. I am running vented rotors from my 777wc on my MP9 and they work great.

Hello Kendall,

just a small question about the oils, i use Ultimate racing oils and they are great, they run with numbers like 40/45/50 and so on, but i'm not sure if they correspond to the same viscousity of losi oils... any ideas about the conversion??

cheers

Ali

All I can say, the solid rotors that come with the SP kit dont have enough braking for me when I need it! Im going to modify them by drilling 6 holes in them before I spend the bucks buying vented ones.

Default one peice engine mount

hiya folks,

I'm keen to purchase a one peice engine mount for the Mp9, I can't seem to locate any manufacturers that does it specifically to MP9 specs though, only for mp777 or earlier cars.

If anyone has any idea who is making mp9 one piece mounts, please send me a link?

Shalom and God Bless!
