I just ordered a new RS chassis and it is definitely more flexible but it is also heavier which can be good on a bumpy track but..... it has no cut outs so you will want to drill a clutch bell hole for sure and probably also run the kyosho extended kyosho mount or a m2c/king heads quick change. I got it as we sometimes run buggys on road and wanted a bit more weight to keep my center of gravity lower.

That's the way the upper arms are. The plastic seems kind of soft.

In some posts in the past some people asked about improvements for the next gen MP9. I'd like to see a normal camber link with balls on both ends for the front upper arm.

Default New to Kyosho anything I should know of?

Hey guys just picked up a Kyosho MP9 TKI3 used only a few races old. Came with many hop ups but everything is stock setup. Anything I should get for it or am I good with stock? I bought a bunch of spare parts and some orange rear springs. Thanks for the help

Default Engine mount plate IFW456

Guys when you run this plate do you still have to put a hole in the chassis where the clutch bell runs? Or does this stop the flex enough.

drill the hole;
the plate helps, but the clutchbell hits the chassis anyway

Wondering the same thing.

Rockstar what did you find to be the most noticeable gain from the ms front tower and shock setup?

Not much really. Replace Bladders if not already replaced, IF346-03.

Most run 1.3x8 Pistons. Just run it!

Agreed, I have had the extended plates since before they were released and it does still hit the chassis. It doesn't hit them as bad but it does still hit. You could probably get away with using a drimmel and just taking a bit of material away, but drilling is much faster and easier. This is what I will also do with the RTR chassis as they have NO cutouts compared to the other chassis.
