i'd honeslty race truggy just to lessen my chance of marshaling truggy. haha
I think that truggies look funny. it's the wing that kills it for me.
but hey, i'm sure there are ppl out there that think buggies look funny. It's personal preference. If you can, get your hands on some friends' buggies and truggies and take some practice laps and see which you like more.
I just like the handling and looks of buggies better. That's why I race an 8ight buggy.

I've never had an answer for the "Buggy or Truggy" debate, but after last weekend (after owning a truggy for some time), I've found out that truggies won't develop much slop and play when compared to buggies.
Plus, buggies' tires don't last as long as the truggies'

they don't have to be hacks at all! it think its just a different class. true the truggys are easier to go fast but that just sets a higher standard in the truggy races well atleast where i race.
All the guys that race truggy also race buggy and they show their skill in both fields. the guy i race with that wins consistantly would hand most people ass's to em in either class but does prefer buggy's. my point is its not just for hacks as long as the easier speed is still being pushed further/harder.
truggy for jumping and going quick. awesome jump control etc
buggy for more precise handling and all out fun, corners etc..
now its a different story if the truggys are pulling the same times as the buggy as any given race. then yes they are not going to make it in the buggy class...
