Default The new Novarossi

Anyone know more about this mill? Sombody tried or seen one? We mostly race on small tracks and short straights, and if this new motor is any good i might consider it.

I've talked to a few about it; basically sounds like a cleaned up version of the current 5k.

Wouldn't wait on it unless you just want "whats new".

Ive seen the unreleased Nova run that you guys are talking about... Its going to be insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not kidding, I run an OS speeds and modified RB C6 motors, so I know what power and driveabilty is. This new 4 port from Nova will trip you out, keep your eyes peeled,... trust me. From what I've seen, all the US test motors have been sealed up on the back plate so no one can open it to see in. They have defiantly figured something out!

I think they are due out in a few months. This could be Novas big come back in the US!

The new NR Plus 4 is going to be the hot buggy mill, i have an exploded view of the entire motor that was sent to me and it is hard to tell the port configuration, but reports are that it just off the hook, and they will be hear sooner than you think, i have 3 coming in within the next 2 weeks. alot of the testing has been done using the new NR 3 chamber pipes, 3004, 3005 and 3006, runtimes are repoorted to be in the 9 to 10 min range.

Its an older motor design that they're bringing back in current form. Basically, its a derivative of the RX21 CLB. I'm thinking about putting my order in as well. Been going over the exploded diagram sheet also.

I was interested in this engine too. Does anybody know if there are internal changes from the NR21bf?

I read somewhere that even the guys testing the motor couldn't open them, they where sealed, so I'm not sure what was changed if anything, i would assume it is a whole new design, block crank, sleeve. As soon as we get our's i will pull it apart and post pic's of the internals, alot of hype about this mill.

My buddy bought one of the FMS motors, so far he is saying the bottom end is very soft, much softer then his OS Speed.......he runs a Losi 8T by the way........ after hearing how the FMS was supposed to be such a monster from all the hype i am little sad to hear it has the same weak low end as the regular 21-7....I was under the impression the FMS was designed for the American tracks with big bottom end to clear short run jumps..instead it sounds like its tuned for wide open Euro tracks where they don't need any bottom end.... NO offense to anyone but i will never buy into any presale hype till i run and test the motor myself, or by someone I trust..too many times manufacturers make big bold claims and many times the end product does not live up to the hype.....
