Default Quick V-spec question

I am finishing the running in of this v-spec and have a question. When I ease it up to full throttle there is a little bit of a 'burp' not loud but kind of like a forcefull poof for lack of a better term. It does not sound like a backfire but a compression stroke with no explosion. After this it will clear itself out and on the next pass will hit full throttle. Any ideas? Also I am running tilted 30% and jp-4 pipe with blue carb restrictor. 7075 clutch shoes with gold losi springs. Thanks for any and all advice

nothing to worry about, you are seeing the mid is still fat with the current needle settings, and when it hits the fuel is loading the motor, and then clears out once it hits the top end, when you get a race tune on it the mid range needle should be set flush between 2 and 4 o clock, and you should be good.

Could someone post their settings for the LSN on their V-Spec? I just want to make sure I am in the correct ballpark, i've never had an engine so powerful and want to make sure im not going too lean. It is still flush with the ball end and its making a lot of smoke.
